Union Tower

Union Tower is an affordable housing development in San Diego consisting of two wood-frame residential structures — one at four stories and one at seven stories — constructed above a shared concrete podium. The project delivers 94 units serving households earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the Area Median Income, including dedicated housing for veterans and residents requiring mobility and communication accessibility features.

Liberty provided support across concrete, equipment, general requirements, and specialty scopes. Work included tower crane operations, hoist systems, podium concrete placement, cabinet installation, closet shelving, and related interior support activities. Coordination of vertical construction, structural podium work, and interior build-out required disciplined sequencing and logistics management within a constrained urban site.

The project reflects Liberty’s ability to deliver multi-scope support for community-driven residential developments while maintaining schedule and safety standards.
